Seat - Rear, Crew Cab, 40 Percent

40 Percent Seat









Removal

1. Raise the seat cushion and remove the 2 front seat bolts.

2. Remove the 2 seat connecting bolts.

3. Remove the safety belt buckle bolt cover.

4. NOTE: The seat backrest latch is only accessible when the seat cushion is raised.

Release the backrest latch.

- From behind the backrest, pull up on the latch release and pull the backrest forward.

- Release the cushion latch and lower the cushion and backrest.





5. If equipped with heated seats, disconnect the electrical connector.

6. Remove the 2 rear seat nuts and seat.

Installation

1. NOTE: Before installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.

Position the seat in the vehicle and raise the backrest and cushion but do not latch the backrest at this time.

2. Install the 2 seat connecting bolts.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

3. Install the outboard front seat bolt.
- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).

4. Install the inboard front seat bolt.
- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).

5. Lower the cushion and backrest and install the 2 rear seat nuts.
- Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).

6. If equipped with heated seats, connect the electrical connector.

7. Raise and latch the backrest.
- Slide the striker pin up/down and align to the backrest latch.

- Make sure the backrest is fully latched.

8. Install the safety belt buckle bolt cover.
