Removal and Installation

All vehicles

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM) electrical connector.

Pickup and Chassis Cab with Midship Fuel Tank

3. NOTICE: Do not overtighten the fasteners or damage to the module may occur.

Remove the 2 nuts, stud plate and the FPCM.

- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

Chassis Cab with Aft of Axle Fuel Tank

4. NOTICE: Do not overtighten the fasteners or damage to the module may occur.

Remove the 2 bolts and the FPCM.

- To install, tighten to 8Nm (71 lb-in).

All vehicles

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
