Brake Flexible Hose - Inner
Removal and Installation
WARNING: Do not use any fluid other than clean brake fluid meeting manufacturer's specification. Additionally, do not use brake fluid that has been previously drained. Following these instructions will help prevent system contamination, brake component damage and the risk of serious personal injury.

NOTICE: Do not spill brake fluid on painted or plastic surfaces or damage to the surface may occur. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, immediately wash the surface with water.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.
2. Detach the brake flexible hose-to-ABS harness retainers.
3. Disconnect the lower brake tube fittings from the brake flexible hose assembly.
- To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).
4. Disconnect the upper brake tube fittings from the brake flexible hose assembly and remove the brake flexible hose retaining clips.
- To install, tighten the fittings to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).
5. Remove the brake flexible hose bracket-to-axle bolt and the brake flexible hose assembly.
- To install, tighten the bolt to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
