Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Replacement (Rear)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the fuel tank filler housing to body fasteners (1) and filler housing (2).
2. Remove the ground strap fastener.




3. Loosen the filler hose clamp (1).
4. Loosen the vent hose clamp (2).
5. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe (4).

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Tighten the fuel tank filler clamp (1) to 4 Nm(35 lb in) at the fuel tank.
2. Tighten the fuel tank vent hose clamp (2) to 4 Nm(35 lb in) at the fuel tank.




3. Install the ground strap fastener.
4. Install the filler housing (2) and tighten the fasteners (1) to 9 Nm(89 lb in).
