Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

1. Ensure accelerator cable is adjusted properly.
2. Ensure both TV cable locknut and adjust nut are loose and not in contact with TV cable bracket at throttle body.
3. With the help of an assistant, place ignition switch in Lock position, then fully depress and hold accelerator pedal.

4. Measure distance between tip end of TV cable adjustment mark "A", Fig. 4, and end of boot. Distance must be .031-.059 inch.
5. With TV Cable pulled tight, tighten TV cable locknut to specifications.
6. Measure distance between tip end of TV cable adjustment mark and end of boot to ensure proper distance after tightening locknut.
