TCS DTC 81: Continuous TCS Operation

NOTE: If the MIL or ABS indicator is ON, troubleshoot the PGM-FI or ABS first.

1. Clear the DTC.
2. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the TCS indicator come on, and is DTC 81 indicated?
YES - Replace the ABS/TCS control unit.
NO - Intermittent failure; the vehicle is OK at this time.
