DTC 1

DTC 1: Power Relay Stuck ON
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Start the engine.
4. Wait at least 10 seconds.
Does the EPS indicator come on and DTC 1 or DTC 2 indicated?
YES- Check for loose terminals and poor connections at the EPS control unit. If necessary, substitute a known-good EPS control unit and recheck.
NO- The system is OK at this time.
