DTC B1060: Relay Control Module Lost Communication with Gauge Control Module (VSP/NE message)

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
3. Wait for 6 seconds or more.
4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B1060 indicated?

YES - Go to step 5.

NO - Intermittent failure, the communication line is OK at this time.

5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Are DTC B1205, B1357, B1805, B2010, and B2060 also indicated?

YES - Go to gauge control module input test. Component Tests and General Diagnostics

NO - Go to relay control module input test. Component Tests and General Diagnostics
