Rear Panel Insulator

Rear Panel Insulator Replacement

Special Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
*Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.

1. Remove these items:
- Rear seat assembly
- C-pillar trim, both sides
- Rear seat belt lower anchor, both sides
- Rear seat side trim, both sides
- Subwoofer, for some models




2. Remove the clips, and release the rear panel insulator (A) from the wire harnesses (B) on both sides, then remove the insulator.
3. Install the insulator in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Check for damaged or stress-whitened clips, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure there are no pinch the wire harnesses.
