Input Shaft (Mainshaft) Speed Sensor Replacement

NOTE: For A/T models. Input Shaft (Mainshaft) Speed Sensor Replacement (A/T)

M/T

1. Lift the vehicle, and support it with jackstands.

2. Remove the splash shield.

3. Disconnect the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor connector (A).






4. Remove the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor (B).

5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new O-ring (C).

6. If needed, refill the manual transmission fluid. MTF Inspection and Replacement
