All 1990.5 Pickup (TF) models equipped with Salisbury-type rear axle.

SERVICE INFORMATION



The 1990.5 Pickup (TF) has a new Salisbury-type rear axle (Figure 1). To assure proper lubrication of rear axle components, the rear axle oil level must be checked every 7,500 miles. If the vehicle is driven under severe conditions, such as trailer towing or rough or dusty roads, the rear axle oil
must be changed every 15,000 miles. This Service Bulletin contains the 1990.5 Pickup Maintenance Schedule List of items which must be performed at specific mileage intervals.

Flat rate information for filing warranty claims for Salisbury-type rear axle repairs is attached to this Service Bulletin. Remove the three pages titled "Rear Axle, Differential and Propeller Shaft 07" from this Service Bulletin, and file them with the 1990 Pickup (TF) Flat Rate Manual (part No. 2-90029-002-0).
