Removal







BULB

NOTE: The following procedure applies only to vehicles manufactured for domestic markets. Vehicles manufactured for export markets do not have a bulb, socket or wiring provided to illuminate the front side marker compartment of the front lamp unit. The front side marker for export vehicles is replaced by a white reflector.





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Partially remove the liner from the front of the front fender wheel house. Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield - Removal.
3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the connector receptacle integral to the bulb socket (2) on the back of the front side marker lamp housing (1) located on the inside of the outboard-facing end of the front fascia (4).
4. Firmly grasp the bulb socket on the back of the lamp housing and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
5. Pull the socket and bulb straight out from the keyed opening in the lamp housing.
6. Pull the base of the bulb straight out of the socket.
