Removal

REMOVAL

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the disc brake caliper adapter Disc Brake Caliper Adapter - Removal.
4. Remove the disc brake rotor, Brake Rotor - Removal.




5. Remove the wheel speed sensor (3) Rear.





6. Remove the center floor console Center Console - Removal.
7. Lock out the park brake system at the lever using a suitable tool (1) and pulling upward on the brake cable (3)Service and Repair.





8. Remove the rear parking brake cables (2) from the equalizer.





9. Remove the parking brake cable (1) from the brake shoe lever (2) at the axle.





10. Remove the axle shaft (1) Removal.





11. Tap the seal plate from the brake support (1) on the axle shaft (2).
12. Remove the support plate with the brake shoes (1) from the axle shaft (1).





13. Disassemble the rear park brake shoes.
