Truck Lid:

Trunk lid
Trunk lid attached to body by two hinges. Two hinges connected to each other by two balance spring and are installed by bolts.
Two hinges connected by two balance springs provide an assist in raising trunk lid and fully supports it when it is open.
A striker at center-top of body secures trunk lid in closed position.
Weather-stripping on trunk lid jamb flange prevents leakage between trunk and body. A latch is attached to center-bottom of trunk lid. Trunk lid is fully adjustable.

5 DOOR

Rear Hatch

Rear Hatch:

The rear hatch is attached to the body by two pin-type hinges riveted to the body and bolted to the hatch. A damper stay on either side of the hatch provides an assist in raising the hatch and full supports it when it is secures the hatch in the closed position. Weather-stripping on the hatch jamb flange prevents leaks between the door and the body. The hatch is fully adjustable.

Rear window defroster
Rear window is equipped with heating elements that clear condensation, frost and light snow. Baked on inside surface, heating elements, or grid lines, are connected to vertical buss bar lines that comprise an electrical circuit.
