Installation

AIR CONDITIONING: REAR COOLING UNIT:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL COOLING (REAR) UNIT ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the cooling (rear) unit assembly with the 3 bolts.
NOTE: Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the cooling (rear) unit assembly.

(b) Connect the connectors.
2. INSTALL COOLER AIR DUCT NO. 1






(a) Install the cooler air duct No. 1 with the clip.
3. CONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION PIPE C
4. CONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE D
(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the pipe.
(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the rear cooler and accessory assembly.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(c) Install the O-ring on the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe D.






(d) Install the cooler refrigerant pipe D on the cooling (rear) unit assembly with the nut.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
5. INSTALL COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION PIPE C
HINT: Connection of the cooler refrigerant suction pipe C is the same way as the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe D.

6. CHARGE WITH REFRIGERANT Service and Repair

7. WARM UP ENGINE Service and Repair

8. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT GAS LEAK Service and Repair
