DESCRIPTION
The skid control buzzer sounds during VSC operation.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform calibration Programming and Relearning.
PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (BUZZER)
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(d) Turn the Techstream on.
(e) Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Active Test.

(f) Check that the skid control buzzer sounds/stops when turning the skid control buzzer on/off by using the Techstream.

2. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (IG1)
(a) Disconnect the A9 skid control buzzer connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT SKID CONTROL BUZZER
(a) Remove the skid control buzzer Removal.
(b) Apply battery voltage to the skid control buzzer, and check that the buzzer sounds.
OK:

NG -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL BUZZER - SKID CONTROL ECU)
(a) Disconnect the A7 skid control ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the A9 skid control buzzer connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID Disassembly
