Pinpoint Test D: DTC U210A:16 Or DTC U210A:17
Normal Operation
The Head Up Display (HUD) module is designed with a temperature sensor internal to the module. When the HUD (Head Up Display) module detects a fault condition in the temperature sensor circuit, such as an open or short to ground, DTCs are set in the HUD (Head Up Display) module. The system still operates normally when the DTCs are set.
- DTC U210A:16 (Temperature Sensor: Circuit Voltage Below Threshold) - sets in continuous memory in the HUD (Head Up Display) module when the internal temperature sensor circuit is below the lowest valid temperature value. This is a short to ground on the temperature sensor circuit.
- DTC U210A:17 (Temperature Sensor: Circuit Voltage Above Threshold) - sets in continuous memory in the HUD (Head Up Display) module when the internal temperature sensor circuit is above the highest valid temperature value. This is an open on the temperature sensor circuit.
