PINPOINT TEST 9: DTC P0A7D - HYBRID BATTERY PACK STATE OF CHARGE LOW

Normal Operation

The battery control module (BCM) monitors the high-voltage traction battery (HVTB) state of charge when the key is in the ON or OFF position.

- DTC P0A7D (Hybrid Battery Pack State Of Charge Low) - The BCM sets this DTC only when the ignition switch is first turned to the ON position, or when the ignition switch is in the START position. This condition may occur if the vehicle has been stored for an extended period of time.

Possible Causes
- HVTB
- Vehicle condition:

- If it has been stored for an extended period of time.
- Excessive engine start attempts.
- Engine operation for an extended period of time.
