PINPOINT TEST 6: AN INDIVIDUAL COMPONENT ILLUMINATION IS INOPERATIVE - HYBRID

Normal Conditions

The smart junction box (SJB) sends a pulse-width modulated (PWM) voltage to the dimmable components through circuit (V/GY). Ground is provided through circuit (B/G).

Possible Causes
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Floor shifter
- Headlight switch
- Message center switches
- Traction control switch

Diagnostic Procedure

CAUTION:Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
NOTE:Failure to disconnect the battery when instructed will result in false resistance readings. See Battery Disconnect.
