• The camshaft has five journals.
• The flange of the No.1 camshaft journal receives the thrust force from the camshaft.
• There are two shapes of rocker arms (type A and B). Four rocker arms of each shape are used as shown in the figure.
• Each rocker arm is equipped with a Hydraulic Lash Adjuster (HLA) for maintenance-free valve clearance.
• There are one rocker arms on the intake side, and one on the exhaust side.
• The notches at the rear end of the rocker arm shafts have different shapes on the intake and exhaust sides.
