ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WLT-1, WLT-2]

Warning

•  Hot engines can cause severe badly burns. Turn off the engine and wait until it is cool before removing the ECT sensor.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [WLT-1, WLT-2].)

3.  Remove the ECT sensor.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
