REAR DIFFERENTIAL OIL REPLACEMENT

1.  Position the vehicle on level ground.

2.  Remove the oil-fill plug.

3.  Remove the drain plug and drain the oil.

4.  Install the drain plug with a new washer and tighten.

Tightening torque
39.2—53.9 N·m {4.00—5.49 kgf·m, 29.0—39.7 ft·lbf}

5.  Add the specified oil through the oil-fill plug hole.

Rear differential oil [F2, G6, WLT-1, WLT-2]
Type: API service GL-5 (STANDARD DIFFERENTIAL)
Type: API service GL-6* (LSD)
Viscosity: SAE 90 (STANDARD DIFFERENTIAL)
Viscosity: SAE 90* (LSD)

Oil capacity (approx. quantity): 1.75—1.95 L {1.85—2.06 US qt, 1.55—1.71 lmp qt} [4x2 (High clearance model), 4x4]

Oil capacity (approx. quantity): 2.85—3.05 L {3.02—3.22 US qt, 2.51—2.68 lmp qt} [4x2 (High clearance model), 4x4]
Rear differential oil [WL-C, WE-C (Russia)]
Type: API service GL-5
Viscosity: SAE 75W-90, SAE 80W-90
Oil capacity (approx. quantity): 2.85—3.05 L {3.02—3.22 US qt, 2.51—2.68 lmp qt}]

6.  After adding the oil, perform the oil level inspection.

7.  Install the oil-fill plug with a new washer and tighten.
