Diagnostic procedure

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	• Does the ALC function turn to ON?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1	• Does the ALC function turn to ON?	No	Replace the audio unit.
2	• Turn the ALC function to OFF. • Does the sound change while driving the vehicle?	Yes	Replace the audio unit.
2		No	The system is normal. Explains the ALC function to the customer.
