•  The signal system which has been judged to be abnormal by the failure detection function is sent to the DLC (FEN terminal) as a DTC.

•  The DTC can be checked by shorting the TEN terminal in the DLC to ground and connecting the voltmeter to the FEN terminal in the DLC, or using the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS).

•  If there is more than one failure, the DTC numbers will be indicated in numerical order.
