• The engine runs after engine switch is turned to the off position.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• FCV malfunction.

• Disconnect the FCV connector.
• Make sure the engine stops.
• Does the engine stop?

Inspect for the following:
• Short to power line between the engine switch and FCV
Repair or replace the wiring harness.

Inspect the FCV stuck to open.
|

• Verify the test results. If normal, return to the diagnostic index to service any additional symptoms.
