CYLINDER BLOCK CONSTRUCTION [G6]
id011095100500
• The cylinder block is a deep skirt design with many ribs on the outside walls for increased rigidity and weight reduction.
• An oil control plug is used to control oil flow to the valve mechanism. It is installed in the cylinder block and engages the cylinder head for good sealing performance.
• The cross-drilled coolant passages are adopted between the cylinder bores.
• The vibration reducing stiffener (VRS) is fitted on the bottom of the cylinder block to reduce torsional and bending vibrations.
