• The offset pistons are used to reduce piston slapping noise.
• Steel struts are cast into the boss to curb thermal expansion, thus minimizing the change in piston clearance by temperature and optimizing offset volume.
• The fitting of the piston, connecting rod, and piston pin is semi-floating.
• The following piston rings are used.
Top ring: inner bevel ring, second ring: taper under cut, oil ring: rail and spacer.
