OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT [G6]

1.  Remove the oil filter by using the SST.

2.  Use a clean rag to wipe off the mounting surface on the oil filter body.

3.  Apply engine oil to the O-ring and tighten the filter according to the installation directions on the side of the oil filter using the SST.

4.  Start the engine and inspect for oil leakage.

5.  Inspect for the oil level and add oil if necessary. (See ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPECTION [G6].) (See ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT [G6].)
