THERMOSTAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WLT-1, WLT-2, WL-3]

Warning
•  Remove and install all parts when the engine is cold, otherwise they can cause severe burns or serious injury.

1.  drain the engine coolant.(See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [WLT-1, WLT-2, WL-3].)

2.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

3.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

4.  Fill the radiator with the specified amount and type of engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [WLT-1, WLT-2, WL-3].)

Thermostat Installation Note

•  Install the thermostat into the thermostat cover, aligning the projection on the gasket to the thermostat cover as shown.
