• The TCV is mounted to the bottom of the fuel injection pump.
• The TCV is located between the oil passages that connect the high‐and low‐pressure chambers. The TCV opens and closes the sheet part of the end of the needle in the TCV with the control signal (duty signal) from the PCM, and adjusts the timer piston position by adjusting the fuel pressure of the high‐pressure chamber.
