HIGH-TENSION LEAD INSPECTION [F2]

1.  Remove the high-tension lead. (See HIGH-TENSION LEAD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [F2].)

2.  Measure the resistance using a tester.

•  If not within the specification, replace the high-tension lead.
High-tension lead resistance [20°C {68 °F}]
No.1 lead: 2.75—7.07 kilohms
No.2 lead: 4.19—10.43 kilohms
No.3 lead: 4.38—10.88 kilohms
No.4 lead: 5.73—14.08 kilohms
Center lead: 3.9—9.9 kilohms
