VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (VSS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [M15M-D]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Drain the transmission oil.

3. Disconnect the VSS connector.

4. Remove the VSS.

5. Apply transmission oil to a new O‐ring and install it on new VSS.

6. Install the VSS.

Tightening torque

7.9—10.7 N·m {80—110 kgf·cm, 69.5—95.4 in·lbf}

7. Connect the VSS connector.

8. Add the specified type and amount of transmission oil. (See TRANSMISSION OIL REPLACEMENT [M15M-D].)

9. Connect the negative battery cable.
