•  When the rear window defroster switch is pressed, the rear window defroster relay turns on.

•  Fogging is cleared from the rear window and outer mirror glass by heating of the filament.

•  If the rear window defroster switch is pressed again with the rear window defroster off, defrosting will stop. Defroster operation also stops if the engine switch is turned to LOCK while the system is operating
