CENTER PANEL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TYPE A]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the climate control dial.

3.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

1	Screw
2	Connector
3	Antenna feeder plug
4	Center panel unit (See Center panel unit removal note.)

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Caution

•  When installing the center panel unit, make sure that the wiring harness and antenna feeder are not caught between the unit and dashboard.If the wiring harness or the antenna feeder is caught between the unit and dashboard, it may cause malfunctions.

Center panel unit removal note

1.  Place your hand in the position indicated in the figure and pull it to secure a space.

2.  Insert a flathead screwdriver into the position indicated in the figure from the space where the glove compartment was removed, and push out the center panel unit.

Caution

•  Perform the procedure while taking care not to damage the connector and wiring harness with the flathead screwdriver.

3.  Pull the center panel unit outward, detach clip A from the dashboard, and then remove the center panel unit.
