1. Headlight inspection
Make sure the battery charge state is good with the vehicle unloaded, and start the engine.
1. Inspection using headlight tester
1) Set the headlight tester directly in front of the vehicle center line.

2) Set the distance from the headlight tester to the headlight bulb center point to 1 m {3.28 ft}.
3) Align the headlight tester with the headlight bulb center point of the side to be measured.

4) Turn ON the low beam, and inspect the headlight optical axis.
5) Cover the headlight not being inspected with black cloth, etc.

2. Vertical direction adjustment
1) Rotate the adjustment screw using a screwdriver, and adjust the vertical direction of the optical axis.
Note
- Adjust the light and dark boundary line to 12 mm {0.47 in} below the horizontal line.
3. Horizontal direction adjustment
1) Rotate the adjustment screw using a screwdriver, and adjust the horizontal direction of the optical axis.
Note
- Align the bending point with the vertical line.
