1. Shift on the fly system oil inspection
1) Remove the filler plug and gasket from the housing.
2) Insert a finger through the filler plug hole to inspect the oil level.
Note
- Inspect if the oil is filled up to the lower surface of the hole.
Legend
- Filler plug
- Right front tire
- Oil surface
- Lower surface of the hole
If the oil level is below the specified amount, refer to the following and add oil.
Refer to "3.Driveline, Axle 3C.Drive Shaft System shift on the fly system oil replacement".
3) Install the filler plug and gasket to the housing.
Caution
- Do not reuse the gasket.
Tightening torque: 50 N・m { 5.1 kgf・m / 37 lb・ft }
