1. Leaf spring reassembly
1) Apply grease to both surfaces of each leaf spring.
2) Assemble the leaf spring while aligning the alignment marks.
3) Securely press the leaf spring using a press.
4) Install the center bolt to the leaf spring.
Caution
- Do not reuse the center bolt.
Tightening torque: 27 N・m { 2.8 kgf・m / 20 lb・ft } 2WD (Except high ride suspension specifications)
Tightening torque: 52 N・m { 5.3 kgf・m / 38 lb・ft } 2WD (High ride suspension specifications), 4WD
2WD (Except high ride suspension specifications)
2WD (High ride suspension specifications), 4WD
5) Install the bushing to the leaf spring using an appropriate metal tool.
Note
- Set the leaf spring securely on a press board, and gradually increase the pressure to press-fit the bushing.
