1. Thermostat inspection
1) Place the thermostat in water and gradually raise the water temperature to inspect the following items.
- Temperature when beginning to open
- Temperature when fully open
- Valve lift amount when fully opened
Note
- Place a plate on the bottom of the container so that the thermostat is not directly heated, or lift it up.
- Make sure that the warm water is continually stirred so that a temperature differential does not occur.
