1. Lower link reassembly
1) Install the bushing to the lower link using the special tool.
Note
- Install the bushing using an installer.
SST: 5-8840-0257-0 - bush remover & installer
SST: 5-8840-2327-0 - installer; upper and lower arm bushing
Legend

2) Install the lower ball joint to the lower link.
Tightening torque: 126.5 N・m { 12.9 kgf・m / 93 lb・ft }
2. Shock absorber reassembly
1) Set the shock absorber to the special tool.
Note
- Follow the handling instructions provided by the equipment manufacturer for more details.
SST: 5-8840-2842-0 - strut spring compressor
2) Assemble the shock absorber.
Note
- Assemble the parts in the special tool.
Caution
- When tightening the nut, compress the coil spring without applying pressure to the upper spring seat.
Tightening torque: 25 N・m { 2.5 kgf・m / 18 lb・ft }
Caution
- Do not apply an excessive load when installing.
- Keep the shock absorber away from high temperatures and open flames.
3. Upper link reassembly
1) Install the bushing to the upper link using the special tool.
Note
- Install the bushing using an installer.
SST: 5-8840-0257-0 - bush remover & installer
SST: 5-8840-2327-0 - installer; upper and lower arm bushing

2) Install the upper ball joint to the upper link.
Tightening torque: 31.4 N・m { 3.2 kgf・m / 23 lb・ft }
4. Stabilizer bar reassembly
1) Install the bushing to the stabilizer bar.
