Radar sensor installation

1. Models with rear step bumpers (integrated type)

1) Install the radar sensor bracket to the vehicle.

Tightening torque: 6.5 N・m { 0.7 kgf・m / 58 lb・in }

Legend

2) Install the radar sensor to the radar sensor bracket.

Tightening torque: 2.8 N・m { 0.29 kgf・m / 24.8 lb・in }

2. Models with rear step bumpers (separate type)

1) Install the radar sensor to the radar sensor bracket.

Tightening torque: 2.8 N・m { 0.3 kgf・m / 25 lb・in }

Legend

2) Install the radar sensor and radar sensor bracket as a set to the rear step bumper.

Tightening torque: 6.5 N・m { 0.7 kgf・m / 58 lb・in }

1. Post procedures

1) Connect the battery cable to the battery negative terminal.

2) Referring to the following, perform the setting of the front door power window switch with AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN function.

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9T.Glass, Windows, Mirrors front door power window switch setting".

3) Close the engine hood.
