1. Fuel filler cap installation

1. Without key lock

1) Install the fuel filler cap to the filler neck.

Caution

  • Tighten it until it clicks at least 3 times.

2) Check that the fuel filler cap is securely closed.

Caution

  • Fuel leakage may occur if the fuel filler cap is not firmly closed.

  3. Cap open
  4. Cap close
  5. Tether
  6. Fuel lid

3) Close the fuel lid.

2. With key lock

1) Install the fuel filler cap to the filler neck.

Note

  • Tighten the fuel filler cap until it is firmly closed.

Caution

  • Do not turn the fuel filler cap with the key because doing so may break the key.

2) Turn the key to the CLOSE position to lock the fuel filler cap.

Note

  • Pull out the key and remove any dirt or dust from the key.

3) Check that the fuel filler cap is securely closed.

Caution

  • Fuel leakage may occur if the fuel filler cap is not firmly closed.
