Generator inspection (4JJ3 without DPD)

1. Generator vehicle inspection

1) Inspect the generator for the following.

  • Abnormal heat generation
  • Abnormal noise
  • Improper installation

2) Inspect the cooling fan belt for the following.

  • Wear
  • Damage
  • Slack

Note

  • If an abnormal condition is found, adjust or replace the cooling fan belt.
