A/C compressor magnet clutch inspection

1. Drive plate visual inspection

If traces of damage caused by excessive heat are seen on the friction surface, replace both the drive plate and pulley.

2. Pulley visual inspection

If excessive groove traces due to slips are seen on the friction surface, replace both the pulley and the drive plate.

3. Field coil visual inspection

1) Inspect the connector for looseness or the insulation for cracks.
