If replacing the radar sensor, it is necessary to write the vehicle information into the new radar sensor.
When replacing the radar sensor, upload the old radar sensor data to a scan tool before removal.
Use the same scan tool for the replacement procedure from beginning until end. If the scan tool is changed during the procedure, the correct information cannot be written.
Only when communication with the old radar sensor can be established, perform the vehicle information download.
Caution
1) Turn ON the ignition switch.
2) Select "Download Vehicle Configuration Data" on the scan tool.
3) Download the vehicle data to the radar sensor by following the on-screen instructions.
4) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds.
When communication with the old radar sensor cannot be established or when setting the bumper type, perform the vehicle information programming.
1) Turn ON the ignition switch.
2) Select "Program Vehicle Configuration Data" on the scan tool.
3) Following the on-screen instructions, operate the scan tool to program the data into the radar sensor.

4) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds.
Only when communication with the old radar sensor cannot be established, perform the VIN programming.
1) Select "Program VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)" on the scan tool.
2) Following the on-screen instructions, operate the scan tool to program the VIN into the control panel.
Note
1) Select "ECU Lock" on the scan tool.
2) Perform ECU Lock by following the on-screen instructions.
3) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds.
1) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
2) If a DTC is set, clear the DTC.
3) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
4) Turn ON the ignition switch.
5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
6) If a DTC is set, go to the applicable diagnosis.
