ECM inspection (4JJ3 with DPD)

1. ECM inspection

1. Barometric pressure sensor inspection

1) Connect the scan tool to the DLC.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Check the Barometric Pressure display of a scan tool.

Note

  • Normally, the barometric pressure on the scan tool indicates a value close to the surrounding barometric pressure.
  • If there is a large difference between the barometric pressure on the scan tool and the surrounding barometric pressure, replace the barometric pressure sensor.
Altitude measured in meters
Altitude measured in feet
Barometric pressure measured in kilopascals
Determine the altitude by contacting a local weather station or by using another reference source.
