2. Body mounting installation

1) Install the body mounting to the frame.

Tightening torque: 60 N・m { 6.1 kgf・m / 44 lb・ft }

  • Refer to the following diagram for the installation direction and position.

2) Lower the body.

Warning

  • Install all the body mountings before lowering the body.

3) Temporarily install the bolt, nut, and washer to the body mounting.

4) Tighten the bolt and nut.

Tightening torque: 50 N・m { 5.1 kgf・m / 37 lb・ft } No. 1

Tightening torque: 150 N・m { 15.3 kgf・m / 111 lb・ft } No. 2 and No. 3

5) Peel the floor carpet and install the grommet to the floor panel.

6) Connect the brake pipe bracket to the frame.

Tightening torque: 23 N・m { 2.3 kgf・m / 17 lb・ft }

3. Inner liner installation

1) Install the inner liner to the rear body.

4. Rear mudguard installation

1) Install the rear mudguard to the rear body.

Tightening torque: 3.0 N・m { 0.3 kgf・m / 27 lb・in }

5. Side step installation

1) Install the side step to the vehicle.

Tightening torque: 16 N・m { 1.6 kgf・m / 12 lb・ft }

6. Mud skirt cover installation

1) Install the mud skirt cover to the vehicle.

7. Front bumper installation

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9H.Cab Structure front bumper installation".

8. Side cover installation

1) Install the side cover to the hinge bracket.

9. Rear pillar trim cover installation

1. Regular cab

1) Install the rear pillar lower trim cover to the rear pillar.

  3. Clip

2) Install the seat belt lower anchor bolt to the rear pillar.

Tightening torque: 46 N・m { 4.7 kgf・m / 34 lb・ft }

2. Crew cab

1) Install the rear pillar lower trim cover to the rear pillar.

3. Extend cab

1) Install the rear pillar lower trim cover to the rear pillar.

2) Install the seat belt lower anchor bolt to the floor panel.

Tightening torque: 46 N・m { 4.7 kgf・m / 34 lb・ft }

3) Install the rear end trim cover to the body panel.

10. Rear end upper trim cover installation

1. Regular cab

1) Install the rear end upper trim cover to the body panel.

2. Crew cab

1) Install the rear end upper trim cover to the body panel.

Caution

  • For models with center top tethers (bracket type), install while bending the end of the rear end upper trim to an extent that it will not get damaged.

  7. Install the rear end upper trim.

11. Rear door finisher installation

1. Crew cab

1) Install the rear door finisher to the body.

12. Rear sill plate installation

1. Crew cab

1) Install the rear sill plate to the floor.

13. Dash side trim pad installation

1) Install the dash side trim pad to the body.
