2. Tail gate removal

1. Center pull handle specifications

1) Remove the hole cover from the tail gate.

2) Disconnect the lock link.

Legend

  1. Bolt
  2. Lock link

3) Remove the outside handle from the tail gate.

4) Remove the tail gate lock from the tail gate.

5) Remove the tail gate link from the tail gate and rear body.

6) Remove the tail gate from the rear body.

Caution

  • Two people are required to remove the tail gate.

7) Remove the tail gate hinge from the tail gate.

8) Remove the tail gate lock striker from the rear body.

2. Side lock handle specification

1) Remove the outside handle from the tail gate.

2) Remove the tail gate link from the tail gate and rear body.

Caution

  • Two people are required to remove the tail gate.

3) Remove the tail gate hinge from the tail gate.
