1. 4WD

Worn or defective oil seal

  • Replace the oil seal.

Cracked front axle housing

  • Repair or replace.

Excessive gear oil

  • Correct the oil level.

Loose differential carrier bolt

  • Tighten the bolt to the specified torque.

Defective differential carrier liquid gasket seal

  • Reapply liquid gasket.

Loose or damaged pinion flange

  • Tighten or replace.
