1. Exciter ring inspection

1) Inspect the exciter ring for the following.

  • Damage
  • Adherence of powdered iron
  • Play
  • Broken tooth
  • Dent

Note

  • If an abnormal condition is found, adjust, repair, or replace parts as necessary.
