1. Abnormal sound in generator diagnostics

Loose belt tension

  • Adjust.

Bearing failure

  • Replace.

The rotor core is in contact with the stator core.

  • Repair.

Diode failure

  • Replace.

Short circuit or near open circuit in the stator coil

  • Repair.
